Tony Tong is responsible for leading Openshark's
technology and product architecture strategies, and led the
founding team at Openshark back in 1999.
His singular effort lead to the foundation of the dynamic
power management system currently used in every Intel
Pentium-class processor sold today. Prior employers include
Philips Electronics and S3.
Tony holds a Computer Science degree from UC Berkeley.
ron kasper

As founder and managing director of Silicon Visions, Ron
Kasper is in a unique position to assist startup
organizations with management, funding, design, finance
and administration tasks. His efforts and direction have
been instrumental in the foundation and growth of
Openshark
Ron was co-founder and vice president of
worldwide sales for VLSI Technologies and a founder of
the Heritage Bank of Commerce. He is active in private
equity placements and his portfolio includes Austin
Innovations (acquired by GE), Bus-Logic (acquired by
Mylex) and Acoustic Technologies.
gary thornhill
managing director, the

As a managing director of The Private Consulting Group,
Gary L. Thornhill assists successful businesses, affluent
individuals and family offices with substantial assets to
protect, maximize and empower their true wealth.
In 1993, he became a founder of Heritage Bank of Commerce
in San Jose, California. In the latter part of 1995, he
started BDG Angel and BDG Venture Capital Fund to help
finance new and emerging technology companies. In 1997, he
became a founder and board member of Sand Hill Capital LLC
that specializes in venture banking and mezzanine financing
for high technology companies.
